Here are just a few examples of what our valued customers have to say about us!

  • "Dealing with a company that stands by their product makes it easy to recommend Eastern Boas to other commercial fisherman" -Bill S., Oceanside, NY

  • "I love the seaworthiness of my Eastern and minimal maintenance lets me spend more time on the water" -Capt. TD, Saco, ME

  • "She is a simple, forgiving boat - just what a single handling lady would want" Rhoda H., Stonington, CT

  • "When we first visited your factory in Milton and made the decision to build our Eastern, we have never once regretted the decision. Thanks again for all your hard work in completing our dream boat. You have been the consummate professional in all of our dealings" -Paul B., Brookline, MA

  • "As a boat, she certainly has clean lines and good old fashioned Yankee-value built into her. As a staff, you have been the epitome of good old fashioned Yankee can-do sprint and without fail have been extremely helpful throughout the building process" -Peter S., Uncasville, CT

  • "Great ultilitarian fish boats. Semi displacement hulls make them very seakindly and as easy to power as they are on the eye.Tried to buy a used 19 a couple seasons ago with a 90HP. A friend runs a 22 CC with a 90 4-stroke on the Merrimack. Sounds like it should be underpowered but it truly runs very well."
    -Jim C.

  • "My buddy bought a 19' Eastern last year (he moors it in Marblehead), and I've been on it twice. I liked it - although it was slower out of the "hole" than my Maritime and was wetter in a chop. He powered it with a 90 hp Honda 4 stroke and that seemed like plenty of juice. More storage than my Maritime Skiff, and the interior quality seemed better (chrome wheel, fit & finish, etc.). He also bought the bow dodger, which makes it better for his kids as they can get out of the weather and spray, etc." -Anonymous

  • "I visited the factory in Milton Mills, NH and watched one in the process of being built. From what I could see in about 30minutes of observing, the construction of the boat seem to be first class. I was interested in a 27 but we could not come to terms. They appear busy enough that they don't need to bargin. I didn't buy one so I cannot speak from the ownership position or comment on customer service. There is a 32 footer in a slip just down from mine and I know the owner who seems very happy with it. He has owned it for about four years now" -Anonymous

  • "I too toured the facility up in nh, being a boatyard guy myself I was pretty impressed with the whole operation, they are argueably one of the most rugged boats I've come across. I've driven everything from a Hinckley Picnic boat to high end lobster yachts, (as well as everything convievable power or sail in between) and they are definatly quality. They are certainly a rugged boat-and for the money its hard to find a quality downeast boat built so well." -Ben Cashen
